5 stars because I love all the stories, the friends that are and the friends to be. The way they live, where they live and all of the in-between places. I love that they really kick ass and always win, sometimes losing a few. Yes there are grammarbooboos, like; wondering for wandering, then for than, but , it sure doesn't stop me from enjoying the story. You'll notice many missing commas, but you'll figure it out quick enough,
and continue on . If you really need to, you can send TJ a re-write with the spelling, grammar, and punctuation fixes. Then you'll have done him a great service, as a friend, mind you !
You'll love his stories, just start from the beginning. Have fun

His books keep you going page after page as it goes from one event to another and action is the maginet. His books which are 11 at this writing with the same people will draw you in wanting to be a part of the family.
Just about 2-3 times a month I check to see if Mr. Reeder has done something new. IF he has, then Christmas has come early-again. Great story/plot. Even better lesson being taught. More please?

the hard part of reading ALL these books is waiting for the next one so PLEASE, I beg you, don't keep me waiting! Would I LOVE to do some spelling/grammar/punctuation/editing work for you, ABSOLUTELY! But NOT at the cost of waiting for the next installment. Love the story, just NEED more, FASTER! Thanks for hrs of enjoyment so far, I eagerly await MUCH more!
Yep Vietnam was !ong time ago, but, the brothers in arms in these readings take me back. !oyalry, courage, and mixed with laughter and fun. Great series. Unto the next book. great story tellings
TJ Reeder is special and unique. These tales (I've read them all) are told like an elderly uncle relating family history to a gaggle of grandkids (with some adult language, of course). He captures your imagination with very interesting characters with grammar and spelling secondary....the narrative flows. If you are such a prude you can't overlook this aspect, then move on. I will happily read everything he cares to write.
Pretty much like the others in this series. Old guy with some military background finds out about bad guys. hands bad guys their heads, rescues good people/victims, accumulates 3 pretty young women who all claim to be married to each other. Oh, and this, all of the "wives" get along (like that could happen). So why do I keep reading these stories? I dunno. maybe because it's good to feel that some people will get by and do well even when civilization collapses.
Wow! The author manages to pack a whole lot of action and adventure into this episode. John and his ladies are making new friends, visiting old ones, and racking up quite a body count in what stars off as a simple road trip. This story goes to show John Walker sometimes actually has a plan when he heads out on one of his seemingly random "walkabouts". As mentioned, this story is chock full of gunfights and derring-do, but we also get to see a bit of the country that has thus far been overlooked in previous stories, and also readers are treated to a glimpse of the recovery efforts taking place outside the canyons and Texas. Read it quick and then wait for Book 12 to hopefully come out soon.
